Project Description

Euthenics inspected the Hawley Road Bridge (TR 44) for the Lorain County Engineer as part of a general engineering services contract. During the inspection, bolted connections were found to be greatly deteriorated jeopardizing the safety and stability of the bridge. While Euthenics prepared emergency repair plans the bridge was closed to traffic. The repairs consisted of reinforcing the existing steel member with a welded angle and replacing the defective bolts.
