Project Description

Euthenics developed simplified plans for the rehabilitation of the Oberlin Road Battenhouse Ditch Crossing as part of a general engineering services agreement with the Lorain County Engineer. The existing non-composite concrete box beam superstructure was replaced with a cast-in-place reinforced concrete slab to satisfy the County's desire for a superstructure with less depth. Survey included locating the road’s centerline and property pins and the topographic survey with basemapping. The project was funded through federal and state sources and required a complete road closure and detour during construction.
